Day 01: Yangon arrival & sightseeing (by car)

Day 02: Yangon - Bago - Yangon (by car)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Day trip to Bago
• Sightseeing in Bago includes
• Kyaikpun four seated Buddha images
• Kyakhatwine Monastery, where thousands of monks take their last meal of the day at 10 am in total silence
• Kanbawza Thardi Palace built by King Bayinnaung
• Shwemawdaw pagoda
• Shwethalyaung pagoda (the world’s most beautiful reclining Buddha)
• Cheroot Workshop, Wood carving Industry and Bago local Market
• Drive back to Yangon and on the way visit World War II Cemetery near Taukkyaunt.
• Overnight at hotel in Yangon

Day 03: Yangon - Mandalay (by flight and car)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Transfer to airport, flight to Mandalay
• Arrive Mandalay, check into hotel
• Mandalay full day sightseeing –

  • Gold-leaf beating workshop

  • Kyauktawgyi Pagoda with large Buddha carved single block of marble

• Mandalay Palace in the evening
  • Enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill

Day 04: Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing sightseeing (by car & boat excursion)

• After breakfast at your hotel
• Depart Mandalay on a private boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village on the west bank of the river
• Visit Mingun Pahtotawgyi, the world renowned ringing Mingun Bell
• Myatheintan Pagoda and surrounding villages
• Proceed to Sagaing Hill – known as the centre for meditation. Hill sides are dotted with numerous pagodas and Monasteries
• Visit to Khaungmudaw Pagoda, Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, Pottery Making village and Silver-smith workshop
• In the evening enjoy the sunset from Sagaing Hill
• Return to Mandalay
• Overnight at hotel in Mandalay

Day 05: Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) - Mandalay (by car)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Day return trip to Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) - East of Mandalay, one and half hour drive
• Sightseeing includes National Kandawgyi Park, Chinese temple, Pwe Kauk Water fall and Peik Chin Myaung Cave
• In the evening drive back to Mandalay
• Overnight at hotel in Mandalay

Day 06: Mandalay - Bagan (by express boat and car)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Transfer to jetty. A whole day boat trip to Bagan along the Ayeyarwaddy River. You will arrive in Bagan late afternoon
• Check into hotel and overnight in Bagan

Day 07: Bagan full day sightseeing (by car)

• Breakfast at your hotel

  • Magnificent golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda
  • Decorative Htilominlo Temple
  • Superb mural paintings of Gubyaukgyi Temple
  • Myinkabar village to observe lacquer ware process
  • Architecturally impressive Ananda Temple
  • Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan
  • Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork
• Enjoy sunset over the site from the supper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda
• Overnight at hotel in Bagan

Day 08: Bagan - Heho - Kalaw - Pindaya (by flight & car)

• After breakfast at your hotel
• Transfer to airport, fly to Heho
• Arrive Heho and drive to Kalaw, sightseeing in Kalaw and Pindaya –
• Pindaya sightseeing –
  • Pindaya Cave, a 15 meter high Shwe U Min Cave
  • Pindaya lake
  • Home base paper making and umbrella making
• Overnight at hotel in Pindaya.

Day 09: Pindaya - Inle lake sightseeing (by car & boat)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Drive to Inle Lake, check in to hotel
• Sightseeing on Inle Lake –
  • Blacksmith and silversmith workshop
  • Floating islands
  • Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda
  • Unique Leg-rowers
  • Traditional Fishing method
  • Silk weaving
• Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, so called ‘Jumping cat’s monastery’
• Overnight at hotel in Inle Lake

Day 10: Inle - Taunggyi - Kakku - Taunggyi (by car)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Drive to Taunggyi, a capital of Shan State. The weather is cool all year round and the winter months can be quite cold at night. The Local Market is well known throughout Myanmar
• Proceed to Kakku, a unique temple complex of more than 2000 stupas
• Overnight at hotel in Taunggyi

Day 11: Taunggyi - Heho - Yangon (by flight and car)

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Transfer to airport , flight to Yangon
• Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure
• Overnight at hotel in Yangon
