Day 1: Airport/ Brief City tour
Our friendly and experienced tour guide will welcome you upon arrival at the airport. Proceed for brief City tour.Thereafter, transfer to hotel for check in.
Day 2: Mari-Mari Cultural Village and Klias River Cruise(B/L/D)
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and proceed to Mari-Mari Cultural Village.Upon arrival, you will be greeted and as preparation for your time-travelling into prehistoric Borneo, briefing on the Village Rules is a must before you enter the village. You will be greeted by the Chief and go through a custom Welcome Ceremony. You will visit various tribes’ traditional house, such as the Dusun, the Rungus (longhouse), the Lundayeh, the Bajau and the Murut. Demonstration of bamboo cooking, Montoku (rice wine) processing, starting fire without lighters or matches, rope and traditional costume making, Jala (local cracker) making, Pandan juice making and body tattooing are some of the exciting programmes awaiting you in the Village. Awesome cultural performances at the main hall are not to be missed when the famous Bamboo Dance (Magunatip). Lunch will be served. After lunch, Depart for the Southwestern part of Sabah. Journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, a local Malay style hi-tea will be served.Take a fiberglass boat – Cruise down for almost 2 hrs in search for wildlife. Experience by walked through the longest boardwalk in the wetland area to return to the Base Camp. Enjoy a sumptuous Malaysian dinner served in glimmering lanterns hug around the lodging. Catch a glimpse of fireflies slowly lighting up and decorating the mangrove trees. Listen to the crickets singing while you walk back to the coach. Thereafter, return to city/hotel. Estimated arrival time at the hotel is 2130hr.
Day 3: Airport (B)
Check out from hotel and proceed to the airport. Bring back beautiful memories of Sabah and share it with your friends and family.
