Yangon – Golden rock -Bagan –Popa- Mandalay –Pyionoolwin –Kengtung –Pindaya – kalaw –Loikaw –Inle

Day 01: Yangon – Arrival

Upon arrival in Yangon, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Check in at hotel. Late afternoon sightseeing begins with 70mlong famous Chaukhtatkyi reclining Buddha and also the life style of Buddhist monks. Visit the city centre where you can see the old colonial buildings left by the British in the 18th century. The Shwedagon pagoda, one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist monument in Myanmar, where you can see not only the architectural masterpiece but also the lifestyle of Myanmar people. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel

Day 02: Yangon full day sightseeing (by car )

Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing begins with the city center and Sule pagoda downtown. Then proceed to visit Kalaywa monastery to observe the way of life of the monks and nuns. Lunch own account. After lunch, visit the reclining Buddha which is 70 meters long. After visit the biggest market of Yangon where one can find every kind of arts and handicraft of Myanmar. Dinner is included at one of the finest traditional restaurants .Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Yangon – Golden rock (Kyaikhtiyo) (by car , truck )

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo) which is situated in Mon state (Southern Myanmar), 160 km from Yangon (3½ (or) 4 hrs) drive to the base camp. At the base camp, take an open truck to Hermit Hill. Check-In Hotel. From hotel about 5min walk to the golden rock, one of the most venerated pagodas by Buddhist people in Myanmar and famous for its miracle and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Golden rock – Bago – Yangon (by car, truck )

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive back to Yangon, along the way visit the city of Bago, ancient capital of Myanmar date back to 15 century. Tour highlights are Shwemawdaw pagoda the tallest pagoda in Myanmar ,Shwethalyaung 55 m long historic reclining Buddha and Kyaik pun pagoda built by four sisters . After lunch visit Htaukkyant war cemetry of 27,000 fallen soldiers of WWII. Return to Yangon. If time permit visit the famous Bogyoke market. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Yangon – Bagan (by flight) (Air Bagan – 06:30-07:15)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport to take the morning flight to Bagan, the ancient capital and birth place of Myanmar culture. Morning sightseeing begins with NyaungOo Market where one can see the way of life of the people, Shwezigon pagoda prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Wet-KyiInGubyaukgyi famous for its fine mural painting, Htilominlo temple noted for its plaster carving and Ananda temple, where one can see finest architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek-cross. Afternoon visit begins with lacquer ware workshop, Nanphaya temple unique sand stone temple in Bagan, Manuha temple built by king Manuha during his home arrest, and then beautiful sunset from majestic Ayerwaddy River by boat. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06:Bagan full day sightseeing (by car)

After breakfast explore the valley of temples.Today we will explore Minanthu area. Sightseeing begin with pwarsaw farmers village , Phayathonzu pagoda , Nandamyana temple famous for its finest mural painting in Baganand. Lunch own account.

Then proceed to the suitable temple to see the amazing sunset of Bagan. Return to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant with marionette show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Bagan – Popa –Bagan

Breakfast at hotel. Morning leisure at hotel (or) Optional excursion to Mt. Popa which is an oasis of Central Myanmar, a birth place of the spirit (Nat) from the top of the mount Popa visitors can enjoy the panoramic view and feed the semi tame monkey along the famous 777 stairways. Lunch at local restaurant .On the way back to Bagan visit small toddy palm workshop. Arrive back to Bagan. Dinner own arrangement. Overnight at hotel.

Suggestion : In the early morning at the time of sunrise it is advisable do optional Balloon ride ( 320Usd per pax with standard services / 380usd per pax with premium service )

Day 08: Bagan – Mandalay (by car)

After breakfast depart for Mandalay by car. Along the way enjoy the scenery of central Myanmar where one can see simple farmer’s life .You will be visiting villages of the farmers on the way to Mandalay.

Driving hour will be about 5-6 hours. Arrive Mandalay and check in hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Mandalay – Sagaing– Mandalay (by car)

In the early morning around 6 o’clock (this could be vary according to season ) you depart to observe and participate the procession of monks going for alms which is the important meal of the day. You will have a chance to do in observing local culture. Breakfast at hotel .Today we will visit ancients capitals of Mandalay. Morning sightseeing to ancient capitals Sagaing (city of silver) famous for its dotted temples and pagodas and stupas .Visit Sagaing hill. Lunch at local restaurant and afternoon visit to Thetkyarthadi nunnery and visit silver workshop. Return to Mandalay. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Mandalay –PyinOolwin – Mandalay (by car)

Breakfast at  hotel. Drive to the famous colonial town PyinooLwin which is also known as the city of flowers ,along the way enjoy the most beautiful scenery of the Shan state (it takes 2 and half hours drive) Arrive at Pyinoolwin and tour highlights are the colorful market, paikchin  MyaungGu pagoda ,Pwekauk water fall , Nationalkandawgyi garden and Purcell tower .Before driving back to Mandalay one can take the old colonial style horse cart and can see one of the most famous colonial hotel remained as its true glory and other colonial houses with chimney. Drive back to Mandalay .Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Mandalay – Mingun – Amarapura (by boat + car)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing to Mingun by boat which is situated on the other side of Ayewaddy River, arrive at Mingun tour highlights include Settawya Pagoda with a marble foot point of Buddha, Pondawayaphaya, MingunPahtotawgyian enormous pile of bricks famous as a worked largest unfinished pagoda, Mingun bell the largest bell in the world and at the end of the tour visit elegant Sinphyume Pagoda. Lunch own account. After sightseeing back by boat to Mandalay. In the afternoon drive to Amarapura which is about 45 minutes drive, an ancient capital of Myanmar date back to 17th century famous for its U Bein wooden bridge. We will take sampan boat ride at the bridge and at the end traditional style silk weaving factory. Dinner at local restaurant .Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Mandalay – Keng Tung (by flight) YH 737-13:10-15:00

Breakfast at the hotel transfer to Mandalay airport to take the flight for Kengtung (Kyaing Tong), mountainous area which is also border to  Laos and Thailand. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon sightseeing begins with Mahamuni pagoda one of the venerated place in the Shan state ,beautiful WAT inn monastery in Shan style, one tree hill for the sunset . Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Kyaing Tong full day visit to tribal villages (car + trekking )

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, drive to the tribes villages and whole day soft trekking till to the evening to visit various tribe's villages such as Enn tribe with black teeth, Akha , Shan to see their ways of life and custom . Afternoon proceed to the Palaung tribe village & lacquer ware house to see the one of the old method of the lacquer ware and traditional alcohol production with old method . Drive back to Kengtung. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Keng Tung – Heho – Pindaya (flight + car) YH 738 15:15-16:10

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the cariest market of Kyaing tong and also (buffalo market which held once in every 5 days ) where one can see the typical products of the region,visit  Kabaraye pagoda, beautiful monastery in Shan style Watjongkham temple, Wat In temple and Arkhi village near Kyaing Tong  . Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon transfer to the airport to take a flight to Heho. Arrive at Heho, transfer to Pindaya. Pyindaya is a small beautiful town perched on the bank of the palcid BotolokeLake. Pyindaya cave is a huge cavern where more than 8000 Buddha images are stored in various size and shape since the 11thcentury. Dinner own account.Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Pindaya – Kalaw –Loikaw (by car )

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Loikaw for about 6 hours. Along the way enjoy the beautiful scenery of Shan state, plantation, villages of tribal people. Arrive at Loikaw and check in at hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Loikaw (car + soft trek to long neck lady village called San Bon)

Breakfast at hotel .Today visit the colorful market of Padaung tribe. Taungkwestupa which is one of the land mark of Loikaw .Then proceed to San Buon village to visit the  Padaung local houses and visit the cultural museum of Padaung tribe (giraffe lady ). Lunch at local restaurant .Return to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17: Loikaw – Phekon – Inle (by car + private boat)

After breakfast at hotel drive to Phawkhon about 1hour and 30 minutes. Arrive at Phakhon and transfer to a private boat for Inle lake (total driving 6 hours)  . Lunch own arrangement .On the way visit Sagar (famousarcheological site of Inle) and visit villages of Taung to and kyauktaing and houses on the stilt . Arrive at hotel and check in. Dinner own account and overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Inle (accessible only by boat)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing includes PhaungDawOo Pagoda, floating gardens of tomatoes, leg rower, NgaphaeChaung monastery where one can see typical Shan monastery with ancient buddha statues. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit traditional cheroot(cigars) and blacksmith workshop , kaylar village on the way back to hotel visit umbrella and interesting Shan paper workshops at the central village Ywama. Return to hotel. Dinner own account. Overnight at hotel.

Day 19: Inle – Indein (by boat)

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day sightseeing begins with an excursion to Intein pagoda complex where one can see beautiful bamboo forest and 1000 Shan pagodas from XVI century. Lunch at a local restaurant .Visit 5 days market if match according to the lunar calendar , tradition fishing method. Afternoon sightseeing visit lotus weaving factory and remote villages on the lake. Return to hotel. Dinner own account. Overnight at hotel.

Day 20: Inle – Yangon (YH- 918 -9:05 – 10:15)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Heho airport to leave for Yangon. Arrive at Yangon airport. Lunch on own account. Half day sightseeing begins with Nobel price winner Aung san sukyi house (photo stop only outside) ,head quarter of NLD (national league democratic parties) the beautiful and historic colonial strand hotel .Port of Yangon along the river bank to interact with people  and to see the daily life of people . Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 21: Yangon – Departure (International flight )

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the international flight. End of services.
