Tour Ref ONT 302 - this Three Day Tour visits Oman's Empty Quarter, and the land above the clouds Jebel Akhdar.  We travel from Muscat through the mountains and after a visit to one of Oman's small villages and lunch its then onto the Empty Quarter for a night's simple camping close to one of the great sand dunes. After breakfast we depart on a journey to visit Jabrin Fort and a stop at a charming village with abandoned mud village and a date oasis then its on upwards to 2,000 meters and Jebel Akhdar for a night in a small hotel. After breakfast we take a walk through the agricultural terraces where Rose, Pomegranate, Walnut and other plants are grown . Following lunch the return journey to Muscat will take us through the Ophiolite mountains.

Tour Ref ONT 305 - visiting the giant Green Turtles and great Fort of Nizwa This Three Day Tour sets off to Jebel Akhdar for a visit to the land above the clouds where the terraced fields grow a variety of seasonal crops including Walnut, Pomegranate and Rose. After an overnight in the mountains descend and visit Nizwa and then travel to the Wahiba Sands and onto Ras al Jinz where an overnight allows watching Green Turtles lay eggs. After breakfast on the final day  visit the Dhow yards in Sur where these wooden boats are still made by hand. Following that there is an opportunity to visit an attractive valley and swim in a natural sink-hole before returning to Muscat.

Tour Ref ONT 308 - visiting the ancient Tower Tombs and giant Green Turtles this Three Day Tour sets off down the east coast of Oman before ascending an extraordinarily steep track to the high mountain plateau above. Here are some of Oman's ancient 4,000 year old Tower Tombs . After an overnight simple camping on the plateau a descent is made so that a traverse of the Wahiba Desert can be made from north to south where the sands meet the Arabian Sea. Late in the day we arrive at Ras al Hadd for an overnight which gives the opportunity to watch some of Oman's Green Turtle population lay their eggs on the beach. After breakfast we return to Muscat stopping at the coastal town of Sur to he lagoon with its Dhow yards where these wooden boats are still made by hand. Before arriving in Muscat there will be an opportunity to enjoy some 'wild swimming'.
